FYI: The Riddlers Two was me and my friend from high school (who went on to be a police chief of the town we lived in), and the music is from when the two channels of stereo on a record were vocal one side and instruments other side. We turned off the vocal side and “sang”. Mr. Big was the title of an 8mm movie we made with a tape recorded soundtrack. Those were the days!
Thank you! And thanks for the info about you Riddlers. I have a friend who I reconnected with when we were in our mid-20s and we’s get together and record songs that we made up. It was a great time.

It was fun, we took tapes to a place and had 45’s made, just for us.

Thank you! That blurb about The Riddlers Two really piqued my interest, so those are the tracks I’ve listened to first. How much fun that must have been! (On the other hand, “Emil Spinnin'” does kind of sound like it must have been a lot of work to sing all the way through.) I’m definitely wowed by your sing-over-the-instrumental-channel technique: very, very cool!

I almost didn’t want to subject you guys to those tunes, but what the hell. We even created a few 45’s, not for sale but just for fun. I wish I still had the movie of Mr. Big that starred all my high school friends. We showed the movie and played the tape for the show.
