Thank you for Volume 5, and let’s keep our fingers crossed for its immediate predecessor. It’s true that a lot of these tracks no longer SEEM so rare, what with their having been reissued, booted, compiled, digitized, YouTubed, and all the rest of it. But, referring here only to my personal experience, I well remember how exciting it was to encounter some of these same recordings for the first time by way of compilation albums. Even now, it’d be hard enough for me to happen onto (most of) them in their original form!
