  1. Thank you! It’s a very cool mix, with many unfamiliar-to-me inclusions, and I do find it fascinating to learn that you were part of that NW scene and knew some of the folks in those bands. I’m also enjoying the comments here: Dean’s “Small Independent Rockin’ 45rpm Labels” and Jose’s Tommenton En La Cuadra” are (along with your own blog, of course!) really great.

    1. Besides members, one of my best friends (since high school) was the road manager for Paul Revere from their Portland days through Where The Action Is. He had some great stories. I spoke with Mark Lindsay once and he said Irish (my friend) got all the girls.

  2. Howdy Dan. You’re speaking my musical language this time. I’ve been collecting NW rock for a long time, and have just about all the US-made compilations, but there are tracks here I’ve never heard, and found more listed on the other volumes in the series shown on that Tommenton En La CuadrA blog. Do you know if those CDs were actually produced, and may still be available? I can’t even tell what country this blog comes from.

    1. Good to hear from you, Dave. I have no idea of the country either. Thanks for still notifying me about book meetings, I hope to join you there soon.
