  1. Thank you! (Sometimes your mixes surprise me by including slightly idiosyncratic or unusual-sounding tracks that I already happen to count among my favorites. On this collection, a case in point is Tampa Red’s “Boogie Woogie Dance,” which I first heard, like, 40 years ago and which has stuck with me ever since.)
